Our cooperative was formed in 1972 to assist the eight school corporations in Ripley, Ohio, and Dearborn Counties with the provision of special education services for students residing in those counties. Ripley-Ohio-Dearborn Special Education Cooperative currently provides services to approximately 2800 students with special needs.
Mission Statement
Our mission at Ripley-Ohio-Dearborn Special Education Cooperative is to provide a full-continuum of services for students with special needs. We support inclusive efforts to maximize the success of our students in the areas of academics, socialization, and vocational skills. We encourage the involvement of special needs students as active members in the classroom, school, and community. We recognize that this commitment requires collaboration among educators, parents, students, and the community.
