Emotional Disability

            Ripley-Ohio-Dearborn Special Education Cooperative provides services to students with emotional disabilities on the basis of a full continuum of services. Most students with emotional disabilities are serviced in their home school or home corporation. In some cases, a student may require a more restrictive placement and this is a decision made by the case conference committee. Services range from consultative to full time placement in a separate classroom setting. The least restrictive environment for each student is determined by the case conference committee. Some students may require additional services such as: speech, occupational therapy, physical therapy, behavioral support, or counseling. In addition, accommodations and modifications are implemented to assist the students with success in the general education curriculum.
