Traumatic Brain Injury, Orthopedic Impairments, and Other Health Impairments

            Ripley-Ohio-Dearborn Special Education Cooperative provides services to students with traumatic brain injury, orthopedic and other health impairments. Students with these disabilities are typically served in their home schools or home school corporations. A full continuum of services is provided for students with these needs. The extent to which a student receives services depends on the individual needs of the student and is the decision of the case conference committee. Some students require additional services such as speech, occupational therapy, physical therapy, behavior support, or counseling. Additional related services are provided based on the needs of each student. In addition, some students may require use of assistive technology to maintain success.
